PURPOSE: At Balear Hospitality Management Group SL we process the information obtained through video surveillance cameras in order to guarantee and preserve the safety of people and property, as well as the security of the facilities or establishment. On the other hand, and with reference to video surveillance in the work environment, it should be noted that the controller may process the data obtained through camera or video camera systems for the exercise of the functions of control of workers provided for in article 20.3 of the Workers' Statute, provided that these functions are exercised within its legal framework and within the limits inherent therein.

LEGAL BASIS: The legal basis lies in the legitimate interest of the controller for reasons of security of the facilities and people (Law 5/2014, of 4 April, on Private Security). Likewise, the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official powers conferred on the data controller. According to Recital 50 of the General Data Protection Regulation EU 679/2016: "The indication of possible criminal acts or threats to public security by the controller and the transmission to
